Bruce Coville, award-winning author of nearly 70 children’s and young adult books, will deliver the commencement speech at Manlius Pebble Hill School’s 2010 graduation on Sunday, June 6.
Coville, a lifelong Central New York resident, is known for writing fantasy, adventure and science fiction books. He will speak to the 75 graduating students in MPH’s class of 2010. Two of Coville’s children, Cara and Adams, graduated from MPH in the late 1990s, and the school’s performing arts theater bears the Coville name.
Coville also founded and owns Full Cast Audio, an audio publishing company in Syracuse that produces unabridged recordings of family-friendly children’s novels. Full Cast Audio employs a full cast of actors rather than a single reader.

“The Last Hunt,” the fourth and final book in Coville’s series “The Unicorn Chronicles”, is set to be published June 1.
