MPH Students Compete in CNY Science & Engineering Fair

Last Sunday, 51 MPH students competed in the Central New York Science & Engineering Fair (CNYSEF) at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College, a record number for MPH! Science Department Chair Sue Foster comments, “This impressive number of participants reflects our students’ willingness to take a risk. ” MPH far exceeded every other school in number of participants.

According to the CNYSEF guidelines, “The success of a science fair project is judged by a number of standards but should NOT be measured by the award a participant receives. The goal of the CNYSEF is to create an opportunity that encourages young people to ask questions and investigate the answers, cultivating a richer understanding of their world. However, the CNYSEF is also a  competition and sponsors awards for scientific achievement. ”

We are proud of all of our student scientists and commend them for their hard work and dedication. Congratulations!
