MPH Photography Students Work with Vera House

On Tuesday, December 11, MPH Art & Design Chair Teresa Henderson brought several of her Photography students to Vera House* and offered family photo shoots to residents of their shelters. Several mothers came to the shoot with children dressed for the season, ready to create new memories. The Vera House staff informed the students that many of their clients in the shelter had to leave all of their possessions behind and are without any photos of their children. So, manning two photo stations, MPH students helped create beautiful portraits and offered families an opportunity to select their favorites, which were printed on site. The families were so appreciative and our students made our community proud with their kindness and professionalism. Many thanks to Teresa and the following students for their dedication to this important initiative:

Lyla O’Hara
Simon Hoke
Ezra Hanlin
Iris Fan
Nathan Sonnenfeld
Autumn Kerr
Andrew Benincasa
