Driver Education and SAT Preparation
Driver Education Summer 2020 and SAT Preparation Summer 2020 have been cancelled. Please see below for fall offerings.
Driver Education is regulated through the NY State Department of Motor Vehicles and the NY State Department of Education. Students are required to complete 24 hours of study in classroom instruction as well as 24 hours in the car with observation and behind-the-wheel instruction. Theory classes and drive classes run for 1.5 hours per week each in the fall and winter/spring, and 3 hours per week in the summer. The course fee is $545.

Registration is now open. All fall classes and drives will take place at Manlius Pebble Hill School.
Theory classes and start dates:
Saturdays, 9:45 – 11:00 a.m. September 12
Saturdays, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. September 12
Mondays, 4:15 – 5:45 p.m. August 24
Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. September 14
Tuesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. August 25
Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30 p.m. September 9
Drive classes are available on Saturdays, and Monday through Friday after school and in the evening. Available drive classes are listed during the registration process.
Fall classes run through mid-December.
The SAT Preparation course offers 24 hours of scheduled verbal and math instruction, focusing on strategies and problem solving on how to best manage time while taking the exam. The course fee includes the student’s edition book with one full-length practice exam, electronic score reports, an online student companion with additional practice tests, strategy videos and practice quizzes. The course fee is $325.
