- Have the option to participate in a guided campus tour
This portion of the morning is designed to provide families with a clear, authentic understanding of what it means to be part of the MPH community.
Application Requirements
To be fully considered for scholarship opportunities at MPH, families must complete all of the following components:
✔ Attend Spring Scholarship Day (May 16)
Students must participate in the on-campus assessment, which includes a math evaluation and a short written essay. This is a required component for scholarship consideration and helps our team assess academic readiness and potential. Registration is recommended but not required.
✔ Submit the MPH Admissions Application
Families must complete and submit the full admissions application, including all required supporting materials such as grade reports and teacher recommendations. A completed application ensures the Admissions Committee has a comprehensive view of the student.
✔ Complete the Clarity Tuition Assistance Application (for need-based consideration)
Families seeking a 9th grade scholarship must complete the Clarity Tuition Assistance application and submit all required financial documentation. This process runs concurrently with admissions, allowing scholarship decisions—based on both admission and demonstrated financial need—to be communicated at the same time.
Important:
All components must be completed in order for a student to be fully considered for scholarship opportunities. Incomplete applications may limit eligibility for both merit and need-based awards.

About the Malone Scholarship
The Malone Scholarship is one of the most prestigious and competitive awards available at MPH and represents a significant investment in exceptional students.
- May provide up to full tuition for all four years of Upper School
- Awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, character, and demonstrated financial need
- Funded by the Malone Family Foundation, which supports a select group of top independent schools nationwide
As a Malone Scholars School, MPH is part of a highly selective national network—and notably, the only Malone school in New York State—offering students access to a broader community of high-achieving peers and enriched academic opportunities.
Additional Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to the Malone Scholarship, MPH will award a range of partial scholarships to outstanding candidates participating in Spring Scholarship Day. Scholarship decisions are based on a holistic review—looking at a student’s academic strength, potential, and overall fit for MPH alongside a family’s financial profile. This allows us to align support with both excellence and access.
Merit + Need-Based Scholarships (Combined Awards)
All MPH scholarships are awarded as a combination of academic merit and demonstrated financial need. Students must first qualify academically through the admissions process and Spring Scholarship Day assessments, and families must complete the Clarity Tuition Assistance application to be considered.
Important Note for Families: Many families assume they may not qualify for financial support—but in practice, eligibility is often broader than expected. If a student is academically competitive, there is frequently meaningful scholarship support available. We strongly encourage all interested families to complete the process.
