Extended Day Program
Extended Day Program (PreK–Grade 8)
MPH offers a comprehensive Extended Day (PreK–Grade 5) and After-Hours Program (Grades 6–8) designed to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students beyond the school day.
Available on regular school days until 5:30 p.m., the program gives families flexible, reliable coverage while offering students a balance of structured activities, social connection, and time to recharge.
Students participate in age-appropriate experiences that combine supervision with meaningful enrichment and play in a familiar, welcoming setting.
Daily Experience
Each day is thoughtfully structured to support both engagement and downtime. Activities may include:
- Creative arts and crafts
- Games, puzzles, and collaborative group activities
- Outdoor play (weather permitting)
- Reading, quiet time, and independent activities
- Opportunities to build friendships across grade levels in a relaxed environment
A light snack is provided daily at 4:30 p.m., and students are welcome to bring an additional snack from home.
For Middle School students (with permission), the student-run Campus Shop is also open during After-Hours.
To encourage connection and active engagement, electronic devices are not permitted during the program.
Optional Enrichment Opportunities
In addition to Extended Day, MPH offers a variety of optional after-school enrichment programs and classes (as available).
These offerings provide students with opportunities to explore interests and develop skills in areas such as:
- Arts and creative expression
- Athletics and movement
- Academic enrichment and STEM
- Special interest clubs and activities
Enrichment programs are offered separately from Extended Day and vary by season.

Additional details:
- Runs on regular school days when MPH is in session
(not offered on school vacation days, snow days, or conference days) - Drop-in rate: $17/hour
- Late pick-up fee: $15 per 5 minutes after 5:30 p.m.
