In the Lower School, we are passionate about explicit instruction that engages each child to ensure equitable access to the skills that will allow them to grow into stronger readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, historians, artists, performers, teammates, and friends.
We strive to facilitate the development of our youngest learners with a sense of perspective and, from that, empathy. We are committed to creating a culture of belonging that promotes independence, resilience, and risk-taking.
From the classrooms to the studio, stage, fields, and playground, our Mission is to inspire our students to think critically, act responsibly, and discover a passion for lifelong learning.
