MPH College Counselor Speaks at Workshop for CNY Guidance Counselors and College Admission Professionals

On March 22, MPH Director of College Counseling Will Cardamone served as an expert panelist at the New York State Association of College Admission Counselors (NYSACAC) Regional Professional Development Forum. The forum at the Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University entitled, “Changing College Admission Landscape,” attracted over 75 high school guidance counselors and college admissions professionals from throughout Central New York.

Mr. Cardamone, a member of the NYSACAC executive committee, shared his knowledge and expertise on the latest hot topics in the college admission profession including the Federal Government’s new financial aid policy (PPY), industry reaction to the redesigned SAT, and the Coalition Application.

Mr. Cardamone commented, “These forums are a great opportunity for admission professionals from high schools and colleges to connect, to share new ideas, and discuss latest trends in the ever-changing world of college admissions.  It is also a wonderful opportunity for me to continue to expand my network of contacts in the profession and bring cutting edge concepts back to the work I do with MPH students and their families.”
