2008 Alumna to host short film premier at MPH

Katia Koziara ’08 will be hosting the Syracuse premiere of her short film The Bracket Theory on Saturday, December 23 in the Coville Theater at MPH. The schedule is as follows:

4:00 p.m. – doors open

4:30 p.m. – screening begins

4:50 – 5:30 p.m. – reception

The Bracket Theory, which she wrote, directed, and produced was accepted to:

  • Manhattan Film Festival (Best short romantic drama)
  • IndieFEST Film Awards (Award of Excellence)
  • Global Shorts Awards (Award of Merit)
  • Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival
  • Movies4movies Film Festival (Best Female Director)
  • Big Apple Film Festival

Katia would love to see MPH families, friends, and alumni at the premiere! She indicated that many people in the MPH community contributed to the film, so she’s eager and excited to showcase the finished product. No advanced tickets are required and there is no charge for the screening.
