Senior class president
Name: Charlie Mann
Town: Cazenovia
Parents: Amy and Kevin Mann
My plans in the next few years: I will be attending Cornell University to study Policy Analysis and Management and Computer Science.
What I’ve enjoyed the most about my high school experience: I enjoyed the sense of community a lot. MPH is really small but has a lot of great traditions throughout the year. I’ll never forget the tight-knit community that MPH fosters.
My favorite quote or saying: “无论黄金在哪里都 会永远闪耀” meaning “gold will shine no matter where it is.”
This is who has inspired me the most: My history teacher and Model United Nations coach, Mrs. Chhablani. She taught me the true way to be empathetic by looking at a mindset from every different background and perspective.
My advice to my graduating class: I can’t count the amount of times I looked at each one of you and thought, “holy cow, this person is going to change the world.” All that you have to do is go out and prove me right.
What I do to relax and unwind: I like to turn my brain completely off so I’ll typically do something completely mindless like playing games on my phone or watching something that doesn’t require a whole lot of brainpower.
Word or phrase that best describes me: Eclectic
How I want my classmates to remember me at our 25-year reunion: I hope to be remembered for being caring, but also for being the first to eat an Oreo off my forehead in Winter Carnival.
One thing I would like to accomplish in my lifetime: If I’m feeling ambitious, I hope to address climate change. If I’m not feeling ambitious, I want to learn to type by using more than three fingers.
